Adam Garrow

Adam is currently a Research Fellow for the Manchester Urban Collaboration for Health in the Institution for Population Health at The University of Manchester. He first became involved in patient reported outcome measures as part of his Epidemiology PhD project where he developed and validated the Manchester Foot Pain and Disability Index (MFPDI), a large population-based study of disabling foot pain. More recently, he was seconded from The University of Manchester to the Medicines Evaluation Unit (MEU) Ltd. specialist respiratory clinical trials organisation, under a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). During the project Adam developed and validated two new sleep-related patient reported outcomes for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
