Tim has gained >20 years’ experience in technology commercialisation, particularly from university environments. He has a BSc and PhD in microbiology and has worked as an academic researcher, technology transfer professional, and entrepreneur; having spun-out and managed two life science companies from university research. Tim’s experience is truly international, having worked for and with some of the largest technology corporates and leading universities across Asia, Russia, Europe, North and South America, Australia, and Africa. Tim is passionate about scientific innovation and entrepreneurship and over the last 20 years has advised and supported a wide range of start-up businesses, and provides editorial and presentations on scientific entrepreneurship across the world.
