Mode 3

It is normally expected that the venture will exit the incubator once an investment is made, but in exceptional cases the venture may continue in the incubator in Mode 3. Mode 3 allows incubator an (optional) adjustment period, typically of several months, following an investment in which they can utilise incubator support services while working to become fully independent.
