Oxford spinout Oxehealth secures £3m in early-stage funding backed by IP Group.

Oxehealth, an Oxford University spinout that’s turning digital cameras into vital sign monitors, has raised £3m in early-stage funding.

Launched in 2012 as a spinout of both Oxford University and Oxford University Hospitals, the company has recently held trials at psychiatric hospital Broadmoor, and has been used to monitor patients with dementia by the NHS.

The funding round was led by commercialisation firm IP Group, and will be used to roll the technology out across the wider NHS.
