Simon manages the Marketing Team, leading promotional and communications activities for Oxford University Innovation. Working closely with colleagues in the University, he is responsible for creating opportunities for engagement with researchers, industry, investors and key influencers in the media and government.
Simon joined Oxford University Innovation in 2010, having spent more than 20 years in engineering, marketing and management roles in the semiconductor industry. During this time he managed global projects and teams, and introduced leading edge products from Japanese multinationals to European markets, incorporating complex IP using advanced design processes. Prior to this he worked as an electronics engineer in the telecoms sector.
