Spinout OrganOx gets European regulatory approval

Oxford University Innovation spinout OrganOx has received CE mark certification for its OrganOx metra device, which improves the success of liver transplantation.

OrganOx CEO, Dr Les Russell said: “The metra is the world’s first portable liver perfusion device to achieve regulatory approval. Securing the CE mark is a fabulous team effort from OrganOx and a significant achievement for the company.”
