Senior Marketing Specialist – Licensing & Ventures
12 month fixed term role – Part-Time 20 hours per week.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will join a talented and supportive team in a flexible working environment within our Licensing & Ventures Group and will focus on marketing new ideas from a wide range of technology areas.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- putting together well thought–through marketing plans, underpinned by sound market research
- marketing new technologies to a wide spectrum of potential end-users
- developing and piloting new marketing strategies for OUI
- supporting the development of marketing skills across the team.
The Senior Marketing Specialist will obtain a broad introduction into technology transfer activities and the Oxford Innovation Ecosystem.
The Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, a passion for science and innovation and be able to demonstrate:
- a track record of successfully marketing new products or new technology
- the ability to grasp challenging new concepts quickly
- excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- working successfully and collaboratively within a team
- strong organisational skills that allow effective management and prioritisation of tasks in a fast-paced and complex environment
- making considered recommendations that demonstrate sound judgement and good market analysis.

Salary for this role is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of £25,000 – £30,000 per annum.
