Aaliyah Wallace

Aaliyah holds a BA in Modern Languages from Merton College, Oxford University, and an MSc in International Business from Warwick Business School. Her professional journey has been shaped by key internships in Private Equity and Investment Banking, most recently working within the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology, Mergers and Acquisitions team at Rothschild & Co. These experiences have enhanced her knowledge of strategic financial analysis, deal structuring, and market research.

Aaliyah is excited to contribute to Oxford University Innovation and support Oxford University’s mission of fostering a positive global impact. In her role, she assists with the management of Oxford University Innovation’s translational funds, support the first round of financing, and help manage the start-up portfolio.

Volunteering is deeply important to Aaliyah, particularly in the areas of education and supporting students. In recognition of her volunteer work during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, she was honoured to be named a Future Leader in Powerlist Magazine in 2024. This recognition has only strengthened her dedication to making a positive impact in the community.

Outside of work, she is an avid Salsa dancer, and Oxford’s vibrant salsa community has been a significant part of her life.
