My work has given me a fantastic opportunity to do meaningful work for the academics at the University and get to meet and talk to academics & researchers at the cutting edge of scientific research.
Working in the OUI Consulting Team is, as a wise man once said, “like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get next”. One day you could be working on a project for a client who is trying to harness nuclear fusion for the good of humanity and the next day you could be assisting another client who wants to help build the perfect sandcastle or flip the perfect pancake. There is a good mix of the very serious, the engaging and he outright eccentric consultancy projects to ensure that it’s never a dull day.
When I’m not working, I like to get out into the wild in my campervan, to photograph and take drone footage of landscapes at sunrise and sunset. I’m also a very keen wildlife photographer and managed to get close and personal with a variety of creatures as small as insects to as large as elephants.
