Advancing Micro-Fusion Research with Alpha Ring International

Oxford University Innovation has facilitated a consultancy partnership between Professor Gianluca Gregori, a leading physicist at the University of Oxford, and Alpha Ring International, a global micro-fusion technology company.

Through this collaboration, Professor Gregori is supporting Alpha Ring’s research into aneutronic proton-boron fusion, an innovative approach to clean energy that eliminates harmful radiation. His expertise in high-energy-density physics and fusion technology will help accelerate the development of Alpha Ring’s Alpha-E fusion system, a pioneering tabletop device designed for research and education.

Jaci Barnet, COO of Oxford University Innovation, said:

‘We are delighted to support this collaboration between Alpha Ring International and Professor Gregori. This partnership exemplifies the innovative work taking place at Oxford and reflects our commitment to connecting world-class research with forward-thinking companies to drive real-world impact. We look forward to seeing how this collaboration advances fusion technology and its applications in the energy sector and beyond.’
