Production of T cells with enhanced antigen discrimination power

Image from Licence Details: Production of T cells with enhanced antigen discrimination power

Applications: CAR-T cell therapy

Generation of T cells with genetic modifications that enhance their discriminatory powers resulting in highly potent on-target responses with dramatically lower off-target cross-reactivity without modifying the TCR.

Features Benefits
  • Reduces cross-reactivity by modifying genes extrinsic to the TCR
  • Uses existing candidate TCRs (i.e. no modifications to the TCR are required)
  • Maintains on-target potency
  • Modified signalling enables selective responses to high affinity on-target antigens
  • Reduced or abolished responses to lower-affinity off-target antigens (i.e. reduced cross-reactivity)
  • Simple genetic modifications
  • Dramatic ~10,000-fold reduction in cross-reactivity.
  • Maintains on-target potency
