Come along to discover what innovation is, how it can be relevant to your work, and what benefits it can bring to individuals and departments.

  • Hear from pioneering founders and entrepreneurs who are helping to transform the world through innovation in medical sciences from the University of Oxford
  • Put your questions to an expert panel including representatives from Oxford University Innovation and Oxford Science Enterprises who will talk about the support available
  • Meet the Enspire team and find out more about entrepreneurship programmes and opportunities
  • Connect and continue conversations over complimentary drinks following the panel discussion.

Speakers include:

  • Tristan Collins, CEO of GaitQ, a company spun out of the University of Oxford in 2019 that is developing wearable technologies for people with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s.
  • Robert MacLaren, Professor of Ophthalmology, who recently founded Beacon Therapeutics, an ophthalmic gene therapy company which aims to restore and improve the vision of patients with a range of retinal diseases.
