The people shaping Oxford’s innovation ecosystem

Managed and facilitated by Oxford University Innovation (OUI), the Oxford Innovation Society (OIS) has helped build relationships between Oxford researchers and inventors, spinout founders, investors, and industry partners, for more than 30 years. By creating space for conversation and collaboration, the Society helps turn shared interests into partnerships, ideas and opportunities.

Today, OIS continues to evolve alongside Oxford’s growing innovation ecosystem. Through a programme of events and activities, it provides members with opportunities to connect with relevant partners, exchange insight and explore new collaborations that support both individual organisations and the wider ecosystem

Membership of the Oxford Innovation Society offers a direct connection into Oxford’s innovation community.

Members are invited to a programme of curated events designed to spark discussion, build relationships and support collaboration across academia, investment and industry. It also offers opportunities to:

  • Attend OIS events, including networking events, breakfast sessions, workshops and forums – as well as the much loved OIS Gala Dinner
  • Help shape the OIS programme by influencing event themes, topics and speakers

There are three membership options available, depending on the size of your organisation.

SME membership

(Annual income of <£5m)

Core membership benefits and access to the OIS events programme.

£1,500 + VAT per year

Corporate membership

(Annual income of £5m-£25m)

Core membership benefits plus option to buy an additional ticket to the OIS Gala Dinner (subject to availability).

£8,000 + VAT per year

Large corporate membership

(Annual income of over >£25m)

Core membership benefits plus option to buy two additional tickets to the OIS Gala Dinner (subject to availability).

£10,500 + VAT per year
