Georgia is Head of Marketing, Communications and PR at Oxford University Innovation (OUI). Georgia joined in May 2025. She is responsible for leading OUI’s marketing, strategic communications, and public relations, working to enhance the organisation’s profile and engagement across academia and industry. Her role includes managing media relations, aligning internal and external messaging, and ensuring the consistency and effectiveness of OUI’s brand and storytelling across all platforms.
Most recently, Georgia held two senior communications roles at the University of Oxford. As Head of Strategic Communications at the Department of Computer Science, she established a new team and a new approach to communications, including a brand refresh, aligning their messaging to their strategic priorities, and achieving high-profile media coverage. Prior to this, she managed the Connected Communications Service in the Social Sciences Division, where she successfully turned around a struggling shared service, expanded its offer, and delivered strategic communications reviews with top-rated feedback.
Georgia has over 14 years of experience in strategic communications across government, regulatory, corporate, and non-profit sectors. She is a Chartered PR Practitioner and an active member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Her career includes working in Whitehall, leading crisis communications for global brands, founding a successful freelance consultancy, and producing award-nominated content. Georgia is passionate about neuro-inclusion and the power of evidence-based communications to drive meaningful change, and is known for building high-performing, motivated and happy teams.
