Rachel joined OUI in 2021 in the Physical Sciences team. As an LVM, Rachel provides support to academics across the Engineering, Physics and Materials departments in particular, though her diverse portfolio also ventures into Chemistry, Biology, and Medical Sciences. Rachel handles commercialisation projects from first inception, through protection and marketing to licensing and spin out.
Rachel’s specialty is in IP and patent support – Rachel is a dual qualified UK and European patent attorney, starting her training in private practice in 2013 and working in house after qualifying before joining OUI. She provides IP training across the Oxford eco-system.
