An optical platform formed of a series of cascaded modulators to create structured light beams suitable for a wide range of uses.
Features
Benefits
A series of spatial light modulators that cascade input light sequentially through each modulator
The modifications from each SLM together allow for stable (i.e. permanent) adjustment of the wavefront previously not possible
The cascade is scalable
So the number of SLMs, each providing it’s own modification, can be 2, 3, 4 etc – each time creating a more complex wavefront topography, intended for a different purpose – this makes the technology suitable for a wide range of uses
SLMs allow variation at an individual pixel level
This gives a very high level of precision for any of the possible applications
