The OUI Startup Incubator supports Oxford students, alumni and staff members in developing their ventures. Our Phase 1 programme is designed to guide startups through the business validation process, and we were thrilled to welcome 20 new teams to our latest cohort, starting in September 2024.

Here are some project highlights from the latest cohort:

ArkSUS  
ArkSUS is developing a tailored architectural plans that integrates environmental, client preference, demographic, regulatory and financial factors seamlessly, reducing costs and speeding up the process. The aim is to facilitate faster and more affordable green building.

OmniPlane  
A novel product that is in part stylus, in part touch panel, and is designed to enhance digital interaction across various sectors. The product will allow users to write or draw on the panel with real-time digital feedback, offering a cost-effective, flexible and portable alternative to traditional tablets.

SpareMeal  
A social enterprise aiming to end food insecurity by connecting the dots between donors, restaurants and people in need. The platform allows donors to purchase meals in advance, which are then prepared by partner restaurants and distributed to beneficiaries – ensuring everyone has access to nutritious meals, while supporting local businesses.

EmpathyHeals - here to guide you through overwhelming emotions into calm, confidence and clarity.

Eigenpath – a no-code, AI-powered platform that simplifies web scraping for businesses and individuals.

Find.Agency – Global Marketplace with actionable insights

FriendsSpace  

Gist – aims to overcome barriers faced by nursing colleagues when accessing peer-reviewed scientific content

GreenSpaceGo – a mobile phone application which utilizes the most up-to-date, standardized data to help the public find, use, and maintain their greenspaces

Heal Wellbeing – mission is to empower individuals on their journey to transformational healing.

JustRow– an application for improving mental health and increasing representation in the sport of rowing

Kiefer – dedicated to developing innovative project management solutions for the NFT market.

MarkMind - an EdTech application developed to help save teachers time when marking.

PremedGo Healthcare Technologies – mission is to revolutionise preventative healthcare through our innovative AI-driven digital health assessment platform.

Project EKSO - mission to utilise distributed ledger technology to tokenise UK commercial property and other assets

Sober Ring – a wearable device that continuously monitors blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and pairs with a smartphone application to record and notify users of their drinking status.

Tribela  – mission is to create a safe social media platform that empowers youth with control over their online experience.

Voices and Players - To enhance employee wellbeing and in-person engagement at work through live music workshops and music therapy approaches

YOX – To empower and connect freelancers with the companies that need them.
