Dr Emily Morris

Emily is an Assistant Licensing and Ventures Manager within the Life Sciences team. Prior to joining Oxford University Innovation, she worked as a Research Associate for the Future Food Beacon at the University of Nottingham where her research aimed to improve crop tolerance to drought. Previously, Emily completed her PhD at the Centre for Plant Integrative Biology in Nottingham where her thesis research identified novel plant root growth responses to changing water content in the soil. In 2015, Emily obtained a first class honours degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
