Tabasom is a Licensing and Ventures Associate within the Physical Sciences team at Oxford University Innovation (OUI), having joined the organisation in January 2025. In her role, she supports the technology transfer process, from initial project assessments to intellectual property (IP) protection, marketing and management.
With an MSci in Chemistry and a PhD in Materials Science & Bioengineering, Tabasom’s expertise spans both the physical and life sciences, with a strong passion for working at their interface. Prior to joining OUI, she gained valuable experience as a part-time Technology Transfer Specialist in Professor Molly Stevens’ group at University of Oxford, where she spent six months assisting with the transfer of various MedTech projects from the lab to the market.
