Santa joined Oxford University Innovation in January 2022 as a Post Deal IP Manager in the Operations team. Since March 2023 she works as License Alliance Manager developing positive relationships with the licensees and administrating compliance with deal obligations.
Prior to joining Oxford University Innovation, Santa was IP and Agreements Manager for Save Water Save Money Ltd, where she oversaw agreement negotiations, product compliance, implemented website notices and polices. She also acted as a DPO for the company.
Before this, Santa worked 12 years in Technology Transfer. First as an intern at the NIH Office of Technology Transfer (USA) followed by 11 years as Business Manager at the Medical Research Council Technology, now LifeArc (UK). Her work covered evaluating biomedical inventions, overseeing patent protection, negotiating agreements and managing them, supporting transnational projects and set up of start ups.
Santa has a PhD in Immunology from the University of Bern, Switzerland following a successful completion of the Interfaculty Doctorate MD-PhD curriculum.
