For years, the Oxford Innovation Society (OIS) has served as a primary hub for bringing together researchers, startup founders, venture capitalists, and industry experts, playing a pivotal role in Oxford's thriving innovation scene. For years, the Oxford Innovation Society (OIS) has served as a primary hub for bringing together researchers, startup founders, venture capitalists, and industry experts, playing a pivotal role in Oxford's thriving innovation scene.
Membership allows smaller companies to gain mentorship from established industry players while giving larger corporations a direct line to the cutting-edge innovations coming from Oxford’s entrepreneurial community.
To get a glimpse of the refreshed Oxford Innovation Society in action, you can watch the highlights from our February event, held at the Weston Library in Oxford. This featured the unveiling of the Oxford Innovation Society Manifesto, which outlined our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting collaborative ventures across the UK.
The event boasted speakers including including Professor Irene Tracy, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford; Baroness Nicola Blackwood, Chair of Oxford University Innovation; Andrew Griffith, Minister of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology; and Melissa Di Donato, Chair and CEO of Kyriba.
