Industry veteran appointed as Chief Scientific Officer of OxStem Ltd

Dr. Georg C. Terstappen has been appointed to the role of Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of spinout OxStem Ltd.

With 25 years’ experience in pharmaceutical R&D in international companies including Bayer, GlaxoWellcome, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Abbott / AbbVie, Georg was most recently Head of Platform Technologies & Science China at GSK’s R&D Centre in Shanghai, with responsibility for preclinical drug development.

He will assume executive responsibility for delivery on OxStem’s discovery & development plans across its portfolio of six programmes.
