To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Oxford University Innovation we organised an extremely enjoyable dinner in St Catherine's College for all Isis directors, past and present.
A total of eighteen past and present directors attended, including the four Chairmen (Professor Sir Peter Hirsch, Sir Brian Richards, Sir Peter Williams, Bernard Taylor) and three Managing Directors (Dr James Hiddleston, Professor Tim Cook, Tom Hockaday).
Dr John Hood, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, was our guest and he spoke of the great sucesses achieved by Isis over the years.
The University established Oxford University Innovation Ltd in 1987 as the University’s technology transfer company. Since then Isis has grown to become an established part of the University, contributing to the University’s overall activities and generating financial returns for the University.
