Isis Supports Government-led Delegation to Brazil

David Willetts, the UK Minister of State for Universities and Science and MP for Havant recently visited Brazil to highlight the successful partnerships between UK and Brazilian research institutions, as well as promote new engagements with different partners.

The University of Oxford is a key partner of Brazil and plays an important role in the bilateral innovation collaboration; Linda Naylor, Head of Technology Transfer & Consulting at Isis, was invited to join a roundtable with innovative Brazilian companies, looking to partner with UK contacts for open innovation and technology licensing.

A large delegation of VCs from universities throughout the UK attended the event, organised by the Science and Innovation Network of the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office in Brazil.
