ICHOM: Developing a standardised set of health outcome questions
27th February 2020
ICHOM is developing a standardized set of health outcome questions asked of patients and their healthcare providers to improve the health of patients with psychosis, personality disorders and disorders related to substance use or addictive behaviours and the quality of care they receive.
Our associates at ICHOM (www.ichom.org) are developing a standardised set of health outcome questions with the aim of improving the health of patients with psychosis, personality disorders and disorders related to substance use or addictive behaviours. ICHOM is an international non-profit organization that unites healthcare providers, policymakers, and patients to improve health care worldwide.
We are therefore reaching out to Mental Health service providers who may be willing to pass on a short survey aimed at service users in a bid to obtain feedback on ICHOM’s proposed list of outcome concepts. Have they captured the things that are most important when it comes to their own or child’s mental health condition? Can you help them improve the areas that are covered to better fit patients’ needs?
If you are in a position to help, please use/send this link to/with your service users.
Please note that they can only collect responses from participants in the USA and in the UK who have reached the age of majority.
