New Language Versions of the Endometriosis Health Profile (EHP) Added to Isis Outcomes PRO Library

Sixteen new language versions have been completed by Oxford Outcomes Ltd, a research agency specialising in the translation and linguistic validation of patient reported outcome (PRO) measures.

The translations all comply with recognised best-practice in translation methodology, consistent with the International Society For Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) guidelines on translation and linguistic validation of PRO measures. Isis Outcomes can provide certification and reports, detailing the methodology used, that can be incorporated into submissions to regulatory authorities.

According to PROQOLID database (the Patient-Reported Outcome and Quality of Life Instruments Database, provided by the Mapi Research Institute) the EHP remains the only validated, patient-generated, disease-specific, PRO measure for endometriosis and is supported by a comprehensive user manual available from Isis with the licence to use the EHP.
