4th November 2011
Oxford University Innovation and philanthropic investors Fundación Barrié hosted a forum on Spanish innovation and growth at Madrid’s Palacio de Fernán Nuñez on Thursday November 3rd.
The first ‘Oxford University Innovation Society’ meeting to be held in continental Europe saw 150 prominent figures from the fields of technology, academia and finance gather to discuss Spanish technology transfer and research commercialisation. Speakers included senior executives of the organisers and the sponsors, PWC and FECYT.
Fundación Barrié has been working in collaboration with Isis throughout 2011 on promoting sustainable development in the Galicia region.
“Isis is pleased to be supporting Fundación Barrié in their technology commercialisation and training efforts. We are encountering a broad range of compelling technologies from the Spanish market, many of which we are looking to commercialise globally through our international business network,” said Dr Steve Cleverley, Isis Enterprise Managing Consultant.
Isis Enterprise, the international consultancy division of Isis, supports numerous universities, institutes, investors and companies in Spain with commercialisation, training and advice.
