SmartEatOut is a group dining solution bringing together people and restaurants. By signing up for free people can join Smart-groups and meet others around the table or simply book a table for a private celebration with their friends.

“Offering a cost effective solution to the local restaurants, setting the community’s social life in motion and giving something back by supporting the Cancer Research UK are the main objectives of SmartEatOut”, CEO Fateh Amroune says.

It’s a great tool for restaurant managers looking for extra covers to fill in the empty slots and increase visibility. It’s also cost effective as the restaurants will only pay per booking. As for the members, whether they book a seat at a group table or book an entire table, it’s always free!

Any member can organize a privately booked table for the friends or join a group of like-minded people. Want to have a pizza-night but not sure how to organize it? Book a table in an Italian restaurant through SmartEatOut and invite your friends to your private party. But what if you are new to town? You never have to eat alone. Find a group that you share an interest with and get to know them through SmartEatOut.

Last but not least the managers of the company have set the target: as soon as SmartEatOut reaches 10,000 members, 5,000 pounds will go to Cancer Research UK. SmartEatOut comes out of the ISI which supports software ventures in the development of products or services and assists them to trade without external investment. Launched in 2010, the ISI offers a wide spectrum of support services including commercial mentoring, Intellectual Property advice, assistance in identifying potential customers, enquiry handling and advice on formation of a limited company.

Roy Azoulay, who runs the ISI, said: “In just 20 months the ISI has managed to successfully incorporate 10 companies. These companies typically received mentoring as well as 24/7 facilities over 8 month period – and we continue to provide an infrastructure of support for up to a year after incorporation. Like SmartEatOut, we find that these companies are very much focused on supporting the local economy and bring benefits to society in general.”
