Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) launches a new Industry Alliance Programme (IAP)

Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) is pleased to announce the launch of a new Industry Alliance Programme which builds on success of an earlier pilot auto industry support programme.
The aim of this new programme is to help the generators of new technology based ideas and products find international partners for joint development, distribution, manufacturing, market development or investment.
The Programme
Over the last decade Oxford University Innovation has helped a range of companies enter new markets and source new business partners. This has led to a number of successful case studies, which include securing investment for projects in the early stages of development or for company growth and expansion.
Through established global industrial and investment networks Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) seeks to assist SMEs in marketing, sourcing and negotiating new partnerships or fundraising in exchange for a nominal set-up fee, optional retainer and a share of deal revenues.
Application process
SMEs which provide products, solutions or services to industry and have an interest in expanding their business are encouraged to fill in an application form and complete a registration procedure. Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) and our industrial partners will evaluate and select appropriate SMEs to join the programme, based on the company and product growth potential.
Each support package will be tailored to the needs of the project and will last between a few months and a year. Once an application is accepted, Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) will work with the SME to prepare appropriate marketing materials (including language translation where appropriate) which will be sent to our network contacts. Resulting interest will be evaluated and Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) will help select the most suitable leads as well as provide the SME with support.
For each supported project, Oxford University Innovation (Hong Kong) will undertake marketing via face-to-face meetings with owner/managers of companies and investors, as well as using our marketing tools including websites, newsletters and conferences.
By signing up to this programme, the SME commits to support these marketing activities.
