New Nutrition and Dietetic Patient Outcomes Questionnaires (NDPOQ), both Adult and Parent versions, available from Isis Outcomes

The Nutrition and Dietetic Patient Outcomes Questionnaires provides a patient-centric report of the outcome on the management of their condition or child' condition resulting from the support and advice from the dietetic and nutrition services
New health outcomes questionnaires have been developed by Dr Keith Meadows, author of the Diabetes Health Profile (DHP), Health Psychologist with over 25 years of research experience, Director DHP Research & Consultancy Ltd. The development of this questionnaire was commissioned and funded by the dietetic team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
The Nutrition and Dietetic Patient Outcomes Questionnaires (NDPOQ), both Adult and Parent versions, are self-reporting questionnaires that have been designed for use with adults and parents of children respectively, who are receiving nutrition and dietetic care to inform the Nutrition & Dietetic services.
‘Nutrition and dietetic advice is important for general health care, but is also important for people living with chronic conditions and disease such as diabetes. However, for a dietetic service it is not, until now, possible to accurately quantify the benefits of their advice and support in helping the patient manage their condition. ’ – says Dr Keith Meadows.
The NDPOQ-A and NDPOQ-P are a self-report, 15-item PROs, simple assessment tool suitable for use with inpatients and outpatients.
