New University in Gujarat to be Created with Advice from Oxford University Innovation

A new independent, industry-focused university is being established in Gujarat, India, under the aegis of Whistling Group. The Whistling Group will draw on expert advice from Oxford University Innovation Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Oxford, and from various members of the University of Oxford acting in a consultancy capacity.

Immunocore Announces Multimillion Dollar Research Collaboration and Licensing Agreement

Oxford Team Find Malaria Markers for a Quick, Accurate Diagnosis

A team of scientists at the University of Oxford have identified a parasite protein that is an accurate indicator of both the presence and severity of malaria. The identification of the protein marks the critical step towards developing a quick and accurate diagnostic kit. Malaria accounts for about 655 000 deaths annually - primarily in African children. Since most deaths occur within the first 24 hours, it is critical to diagnose and treat malaria patients promptly.

Non-invasive Scan to Detect Early Liver Disease

Endometriosis is a chronic, painful gynaecological condition that typically affects women of reproductive age and can lead to infertility. The questionnaire gauges the success of current endometriosis treatments as well as the impact on patient quality-of-life.
